Additive manufacturing/3D printing
Additive manufacturing is a forward-looking technology that can be used to economically produce complex components and structures with small batch sizes. However, there are still obstacles to overcome for the broad industrial application of additive manufacturing processes and their associated process chains, for which innovative solutions are being researched and developed at the Chair Manufacturing and Remanufacturing Technology.
For this purpose, the scientists of the LUP work closely and interdisciplinary with cooperation partners from science and industry to develop industrially usable applications.
